Storyboarding

As of right now, I don’t know if I want to have the title cards take up a whole frame each time, or if I want them to appear smaller in a corner throughout the sequences. I would like to have an even amount of screen time for Keaton ball and Chaplin ball, but I may decide to switch to all of one character if I find more scenes I think I can work with for the project.

Audio Selection

Maple Leaf Rag

I was sold on this song when I heard the camera noises, I think it adds to the authenticity for silent movie era film. I think the camera noises will also compliment the old film texture. It even has a good intro for the first title card.

First 2s Motion Test

For my motion test, I decided to start at the beginning title card. I did this because one of the most important aspects on my video is to have a silent film era feel. I used this time to figure out how to use the effects to create an animated adjustment layer that will give my video lines and grain throughout the entire video.

30 Seconds FR 29

I tried the regular frame rate, and a slightly slower frame rate to see if I liked the choppier effect for my video. I have not replaced repetition’s sequence yet in these videos.
